Steve Surreal Interviews DJ Random before The Nu Rave Movement This Saturday..

Hey Random, thanks for taking the time to speak with me. So, take us back to the beginning. Where did your love of the Nu Rave sound begin?

No Worries.  Probably at the Hardcore Weekender a few years ago, someone had a cd of Faydz that was played all weekend, totally blew me away.  This led to a good mate of mine who was working in Catapult records Cardiff at the time getting in a lot of Nu Rave tunage at the shop.

Nu-Rave.com Interviews Simon Holmes
--So where how did it all start then?

I managed to get some decks (good old Soundlab DLP1s) and got into djing in my bedroom.

So how did it all begin?

Well... after the big bang the universe was tremendously hot as a result of particles of both matter and antimatter rushing apart in all directions.
As it began to cool, there existed an almost equal yet asymmetrical amount of matter and antimatter.
